Our leak-proof plastic jar lids come with a rubber self-healing injection port for convenient LC inoculation, and a 0.22-micron air filter. The red tip is a dual luer lock, with female and male ends. To connect a syringe just twist and open the lock, connect it for easy culture extraction, then screw on the cap to seal it when you are done. The tubing clamp will allow you to seal and unseal the line so that no liquid or air will go back into the jar.
